Pastor Duane Brown became the pastor of Valley Mission Nazarene Church in September of 2001. Previous to coming to Indiana he had served at a Nazarene church in Michigan. In November of 1980 he married Beth Smith and has been blessed with three biological daughters and two adopted twin girls. Prior to entering the ministry Pastor Duane served as a design engineer and CAD operations shift manager for three companies. Pastor & Beth have been foster parents to over thirty children. He attended Gods Bible School & College in Cincinnati Ohio, majoring in Christian Education. He was ordained in the church of the Nazarene in 2005. Pastor traveled and sang bass with the Tri-State Quartet for nearly five years, and has been involved in radio broadcasting for many years. An avid NASCAR fan, pastor loves almost any sporting event as well as spending time with his family. His life verse is 1st Timothy 1:12 “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.”
